Although I have resided in multiple states, I currently live in NC where I was born and raised. I completed my undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at NC State University and received my Master of Bioengineering & Nanotechnology from Harvard University. I enjoy traveling, volunteering, and supporting the activities of my 14 nieces and nephews.

I have always had a passion for people, animals, and nature. Although I have no formal training, I have been drawn to horses for as long as I can remember. For me, these majestic creatures bring solace and peace. This led me to have my autistic nephew participate in equine therapy from an early age. In 2022, when I was in search of a more consistent platform for him, I stumbled across Helping Horse Therapeutic Program. I was so excited when I started to volunteer as a side-walker. Shortly thereafter, I was invited to join the Board of Directors. From the various programs/camps, I have seen the impact that this organization is having on the community. The connection shared between the participants and our volunteers is genuine and undeniable. I am enthusiastic about my growth and involvement at Helping Horse and I look forward to doing my part to increase their impact for years to come!
