My name is Alex, and I am the Caretaker at Helping Horse! I have been working with horses for the past 25 years expanding multiple disciples, however, my love has always been the care that goes into horses. My favorite place in the whole world is “at the barn.” One of my passions is helping humans and horses find their strengths and helping them develop those strengths!
I’m a wife and mom of 3 boys. Jake, my husband, will be around the barn helping, too. He’s not a “horse” person (besides being married to a horse crazy girl) but grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. We own and operate an outdoor living business in the triangle! My 3 boys are Brooks, Nic, and Zander. You will also see our dogs, Heidi and Mattie, around the barn.

Riding has helped Kate respond faster and talk loud enough for the horses to hear commands like "walk on!" Each week she meets her horse, Del, at the gate and is ready to ride. Helping Horse really is an awe-inspiring program.
